If you wish to participate in this Sweepstakes, you must have a registered account within the Site and must be the sole account creator which is defined as; the natural person to whom an e-mail address is assigned by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution,) responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

Once you are registered at GH5.GuitarHero.com, starting on May 26, 2009, you can log on to the Site and you will see one multiple choice quiz for each day for 5 days. The question consists of clues to the potential bands whose songs will be in Guitar Hero 5. In order to select the right answer you will be given clues in the way of web links that will take you to other websites where clues can be found in the articles, blogs, etc. Once you have uncovered the clues from the websites, you can go back to multiple choice quiz on GH5.GuitarHero.com and choose the correct answer. On the final 5th day, you will have the opportunity to submit your answers to all the five questions by clicking on Submit. Once you click on Submit, you will not be able to change your answers. The winner will be announced on or about August 1st, 2009.

Alternate Method of Entry: Mail-in Entry. Please print your name, complete address and phone number (including area code) either on a postcard or on a separate piece of paper no larger than 8½ x 11 inches, and mailing the postcard or paper in an envelope with the proper postage affixed to: Guitar Hero 5 Reveal Sweepstakes, Att: Customer Support - RedOctane, 444 Castro St. Suite 140. MountainView, CA. 94041. All entries must be post marked no later than June 30, 2009 and received no later than July 15, 2009. Limit one entry per household. All entries and requests become the Sponsor's property and will not be returned or acknowledged. Illegible entries are void. The Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, damaged, incomplete, misdirected, mutilated, postage due, or entries not received in time for drawing.

Sponsor assumes no responsibility for illegible, lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete entries, system errors and failures, faulty transmissions, or other telecommunications malfunctions. Sponsor reserves the right, at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate or suspend the Sweepstakes should any unauthorized intervention or other cause beyond the control of the Sponsor affect the administration or conduct of the Sweepstakes.

GRAND PRIZE WINNER: One (1) grand prize winner will be randomly drawn from the list of eligible entries received. The grand prize winner will win 5 concert tickets to 5 concerts in a venue of their choice located in major metropolitan concert venues near his/her home town. Approximate total retail value: $4,500.00.

Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitutions are allowed except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value, should the prize become unavailable for any reason. Any and all other costs, fees, taxes and expenses not explicitly stated herein as being awarded, are the sole responsibility of the prize recipient.

The winner will be given an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release, and must complete, sign and return all required documentation as a condition of receiving the prize. If the winner, cannot or does not comply with these official rules he/she will be disqualified, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected, at Sponsor's discretion. In the event of noncompliance with either the rules or any of these time periods, an alternate winner will be selected as set forth above. By entering this Sweepstakes and/or accepting the prize, the entrant consents to the use of his/her name, voice, pictures or other likeness for advertising, promotional and other purposes as determined by Sponsor and its designees without further approval or compensation (including on Sponsor's web site). The prize winner will be responsible for his/her own transportation, lodging and meals. Sponsor has the right to revise dates and procedures mentioned in these rules.

All Sweepstakes entrants, by entering, agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and Official Parties from and against any and all liability for injuries and/or damages sustained in connection with this Sweepstakes (including any travel or activity related thereto) or related to participation in the Sweepstakes. All decisions of the Sponsor on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final. Prize cannot be exchanged, redeemed for cash or transferred and there are no substitutions. If, for reasons beyond the Sponsor's control, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as originally planned, the Sponsor, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes.
